Nowadays I am continuing my hard work, pushing my limits, challenging myself and preparing myself to be completely fit and ready to climb the Mount Everest.
Monday to Saturday
5:30/5:45 AM – I wake up early to keep myself energetic, fresh and free from laziness
6:15 – 7:30 AM – For about 1 hour 15 mins I do my Running, Core Training and Stretching.
7:30 AM – 7.30 PM – For about half the day (12 hours) I carry on with my regular engagements. My job is almost for about 10 hours. I also make time to hang out with friends, shopping, etc. In between I do my breakfast, lunch and evening snacks.
8:00 PM – in the evening I take up Functional training like steps climbing, cycling, etc. in low oxygen conditions for about 40mins.
9.15 PM – I have my dinner early so that I get some time before I go to sleep.
10:00/10:30 PM – I retire to bed and make sure to get 7 hours of sleep daily.
My Regular Diet
I take a cheese cube before going for my run to start my metabolism and also get energy for the work out.
In between my work out session, if I feel tired or thirsty, I drink Gatorade which contains electrolytes. It helps in muscle energy recovery and hydration.
I take 4 meals everyday – Breakfast, Lunch, Evening Snacks and Dinner. The meals I take are moderate. I do not take very heavy meals. My meals are strictly low in carbohydrate and low in sugar. Carbohydrate is restricted in my regular diet and meals.
Drinking coffee is a great way to acquire muscle recovery. I take 1-2 cups of coffee regularly. I take my coffee black and without sugar.
I also drink green tea 3-4 times a day without sugar for good health and energy.
My wake up and sleep time are unchanging. On Sundays I go for a long run of 15-20 Kms in about 1 ½ - 2 hours in the morning.
Then I do core training and stretching.
My Sunday breakfast is heavy consisting mainly of protein diet (mostly chicken). Sunday lunch consists of carbohydrate and protein for muscle recovery.
Dinner is as usual low in carbohydrate and low in sugar.
My Travel Routine
When I am travelling, I do not get time for the morning exercises.
During travel times I work out only in the evening hours.
I try to meet my diet restrictions as much as possible when I am out of station or travelling.
